The 55th Graduation Exhibition themed "Nanyang Nook" has successfully concluded

The 55th graduation exhibition, "Nanyang Nook," jointly organized by Class 2A students from DMS and DIB at Oneworld Hanxin College, successfully concluded on November 8, 2025. The two-day exhibition, using a tea room to evoke Nanyang sentiments, explored the intersection of culture and belonging through youth creative work, attracting over 300 participants.

The opening ceremony featured a lively lion dance, creating a vibrant atmosphere.

At the opening ceremony, Ms. Tan, CEO of the College, stated that "Nanyang Nook" was not only an exhibition of achievements but also an educational reflection. She emphasized that "Nanyang" is not merely a historical memory but also a cultural warmth. The Class 2A students, starting from the intimate corner of a tea room, showcased the diverse coexistence of Nanyang culture and presented the younger generation's sincere exploration of belonging and cultural identity. She praised the students for demonstrating high execution and cohesion within limited resources, embodying the professionalism and cultural awareness expected of communication students.

Chair of the 55th Graduation Exhibition, Hoo Jing Xuen stated, “‘Nanyang Nook’ is not just an exhibition, but more like a letter to our youth. We interpret ‘Nanyang’ from our own perspective, finding a balance between friction and cooperation, learning respect and growth in the creative process, and expressing our gratitude to our teachers for their support and guidance.”

This exhibition brings together works from 31 students, covering graphic design, documentaries, radio programs, variety show production, and short film creation, showcasing their learning achievements over the past two years. A traditional children's toy area was also set up, allowing for interactive fun for participants. Many guests commented that the works were rich in emotion and thought, successfully rekindling people's attention to and identification with Nanyang culture from a youthful perspective.

At the closing ceremony, the organizing committee and guests raised a toast to express their gratitude, symbolizing a significant milestone for the students of Class 2A as they transitioned from learning to practice. The students used images, sound, and design as their pens to write their own “Nanyang memories” as contemporary youth, leaving a warm and profound mark on the college's educational achievements.
